ALVIN HIPOLITO, the official portrait artist of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is an established artist who hails from Bacoor City, Cavite. Growing up as a son of the late master painter Dante Hipolito, he was highly influenced by his father's passion in arts, which inspired him to join art competitions at a very young age.

Later on, he participated in various group shows and immersed himself in his first solo exhibit in 2008, which was sponsored by Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle, a bishop by then. His succeeding one-man show entitled "Flowers of May" was held at the Asian Hospital in Alabang the following year. Most of his works were featured in various coffee table books, newspapers and magazines. In 2010, his artwork entitled "Mangingisda" was included in the Philippine stamp.

Lately, he has been doing commissioned works for painting collectors including the President of the Republic of the Philippines, President Rodrigo Duterte.
